artist's
statement
I like the physicality of pushing paint. I like to see
what I can make it do. I am always looking in the process
of painting for an interaction of paint that excites me,
something new to me. And it is from the activity of moving
paint that I begin to construct my painting. I most often
look for faces in the paint yet unrealized. I try to create
figures with raw emotion within a surface of abstract
textures.
